Manage Discomfort:
Use Tylenol post-treatment to manage any discomfort.
Handle Swelling and Itching:
Take Zyrtec or Benadryl to manage swelling and itching if
you are unbearably uncomfortable (remember, we “want” a histamine response).
Cold Sore Prevention:
: Post-treat for cold sores 3-7 days after treatment as instructed.
Stay Hydrated:
Maintain a minimum intake of 62 ounces of water daily for 5-7 days
post-treatment.
Do not apply heat, ice, any other products unless you have been instructed to do so by
your service provider.
Send photos to the after hours line if you suspect any complications
